COURSE DESCRIPTION
This module introduces participants to Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC), an innovative and effective method of caring for preterm and low-birth-weight infants. KMC involves skin-to-skin contact between the mother (or another caregiver) and the baby, providing warmth, comfort, and essential developmental support. Participants will learn the principles, benefits, and techniques of KMC, enabling them to contribute to improved infant outcomes and family-centered care.
